A summer evening: Family Photography, Munich

We had a bit of difficulty scheduling the right evening for this session, but when Mum mentioned that her parents were in town, I knew we had to fit it in on the one sunny evening during their visit, as I simply love to include grandparents in my photo sessions. We started off at their home, where I captured them playing, reading and larking around. Then we headed outside to play in the water fountains right by their apartment. Little man loved the opportunity to give his parents a good soaking, haha! And I have a feeling his baby sister will follow in his footsteps as she loved the water too.

It is so important to me when documenting families, that I capture them at home and in locations that mean something to the family. This is especially important these days, when we move around so much. I love to think of these kids looking back on these photos in twenty, thirty years time and remembering where they grew up and where they used to play (and how much their parents and grandparents enjoyed them).

If you’d like me to capture a slice of your family life, please do get in touch via the contact form under the menu above. I promise you won’t regret it.
